What is the Subaru Love Promise?

Subaru and our retailers believe in making the world a better place and the Subaru Love Promise is our vision of respecting all people. This is our commitment to show love and respect to our customers and to work to make a positive impact in the world.

The Subaru Love Promise Community Commitment

We believe in being a positive force in something bigger. And it all starts right here in our community. Not just by our donations, but by our actions.

That's why we stay true to our Love Promise Community Commitment by partnering with a wide variety of community nonprofits and charities.

Every year, we join hands with our owners in the "Share the Love" event, giving back to our community-a community that's given so much to us.

So, every day, we strive to ensure our love is felt not just by our customers, but by all in our community. We do this because we feel it is the right thing to do.

We are proud to participate in the Love Promise Community Commitment. We're grateful, not only to be a part of our community, but to serve and support the causes and passions that are closest to our hearts, right here in our neighborhood.

All of the organizations we support have one thing in common: the unwavering dedication to improve the world and the lives of its people.

Love Promise Stories from Jubilee Subaru

Baylor Scott and White Cancer Center Visit  –  Jessye P

Baylor Scott and White Cancer Center Visit

Together LLS South Central Texas and Jubilee Subaru met with patients at the Baylor Scott and White Cancer Center in Waco on July 13th, 2017. We were able to meet with some amazing people that day. One patient was so excited to receive her own blanket as she shared how her husband had claimed all the blankets in the house, so to be given one that is HERS made it more significant. We also got the opportunity to share a GREAT memory with another patient who was notified the tumor was GONE that exact morning! After lots of hugs, we gave her the blanket to mark the day the tumor was gone after four treatments. Everyone was so thankful, from the transfusion nurses to the hospital administrators, needless to say everyone was feeling the love, hope and warmth at Baylor Scott and White Cancer Center in Waco.

Jubilee Subaru partnered with the Humane Society of Central Texas/ City of Waco Animal Shelter in conjunction with the 2016 Subaru Share the Love Event to present the Home for the Holidays Pet Adoption Event on November 19. Participants enjoyed a live radio broadcast with KBGO Big 95 and visiting with pets eligible for adoption. The Animal Shelter is a no-kill status, open-admission shelter, providing adoption, rescue, and foster opportunities to an estimated 260,000 people in the Greater Waco area. The Humane Society of Central Texas is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization operated solely on donations from the community, making support from the community vital to continuing their life-saving work and maintaining a no-kill status. Five pets were matched with families at the event and will now be Home for the Holidays!

Our Superhero  –  Jacqueline R

Our Superhero

Bran was diagnosed with Leukemia in May 2009. He attended Scott & White Cancer Center in Temple, TX and underwent 4 years of chemotherapy. He fought his battle with cancer and we are happy to say he WON! He is currently in remission. What a trooper! During Bran’s treatments, Bran created a motto that he lived by ever since he was diagnosed, “NEVER SAY QUIT!” He wanted to beat cancer so that he can inspire others to live by his motto as well. After learning that Subaru partnered with The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and he was asked to meet Subaru dealers at Baylor Scott & White Cancer Center, Bran couldn’t contain his excitement and said yes! He admires Baylor University, but also knowing that patients going through what he went through will be receiving blankets. Something he knew they would appreciate. Subaru dealers enjoyed meeting Bran and knew that they weren’t standing in front of a young boy, but a Superhero. Bran is a bright 8 year old with an amazing charisma! He loves archery, football, swimming, reading and dance. He enjoys watching SpongeBob SquarePants and loves the Peanuts Movie. He has three sisters and one brother who are his #1 supporters! Bran will continue to raise awareness and support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Subaru.

Guide Dogs for the Blind  –  Bailee B

Guide Dogs for the Blind

Guide Dogs for the Blind (GDB) has been around since 1942. It is a nonprofit organization that believes in helping the visually impaired. Our mission is to give free guide dogs to people who have vision problems. Our dogs are trained by puppy raisers throughout the USA from two to sixteen months old. During this time puppy raisers are responsible for paying for food, training equipment, and a kennel for the puppy in training. After puppy raiser training is complete, the dogs go back to California, finish out their training, and then are paired with their blind partner. As you can tell, this is a very long and expensive process, but it is also an amazing program full of love for the blind and dogs. We have paired over 14,000 people with dogs and would love to partner more. Waco/Robinson puppy club is asking for your support in this effort to help people. The GDB Dallas Club has partnered with Subaru of Dallas (Dave Adams) and has a great relationship with them. We are asking to create a relationship with you like the Dallas club has with Mr. Adams. Will you join us in helping visually impaired people finally become independent with the help of our dogs?

Race ONE 5K and Fun Run

Race ONE has become one of the local charity Mission Waco Mission World’s most prominent annual fundraising events; it brings together hundreds of racers and spectators to raise awareness and support for Mission Waco and their outreach efforts for the impoverished in our community. Race ONE brings together a wide variety of community members, from faculty and students from Baylor, neighborhood residents, Mission Waco program participants, and the philanthropists and community activists that support Mission Waco. 2016 was Jubilee's 4th consecutive year to serve as Title Sponsor. The block is also home to Mission Waco's headquarters, Youth Center, and the restaurant owned and operated by Mission Waco (the World Cup Café). The race winds through the neighborhood and concludes at the same spot, raising awareness for the blighted neighborhood through first-hand experience. Jubilee has been integral to the race's growth and success over the past 4 years.

Jubilee Subaru Partners With Be the Match  –  Nancy G

Jubilee Subaru Partners With Be the Match

Jubilee Subaru proudly continued our support of Be The Match for the 2014 Share the Love Event. From November 20, 2014 through January 2, 2015, anyone purchasing a new Subaru at Jubilee had the opportunity to choose from a selection of charities, including Be The Match, to award a donation of $250. Through our local branch of Be The Match and our continued relationship with the Miracle Match Marathon (benefitting Be The Match), Jubilee Subaru will continue to work in the Central Texas community to raise awareness and funds for this life saving organization. Be The Match, operated by the National Marrow Donor Program, is a nonprofit organization that's dedicated to helping every patient get the life-saving transplant they need. As trusted leaders in advancing treatments for those facing blood cancers, Be The Match provides the research, innovative technologies, patient support, and education that saves lives. For blood disorder patients, a bone marrow or cord blood transplant may be their best or only hope for a cure - yet 70% of patients who need a transplant do not have a matching donor in their family. They depend on Be The Match and their supporters to find a match to save their life. They also provide one-on-one support to patients and their families throughout the transplant journey. Be The Match raises funds that ensure all patients receive the life-saving transplant they need.
